This is our in house made Urchin. Made with a super hard form of plastisol to keep that bounce in the tentacles that they need to generate bites and also have superb durability. Other advantages of non TPE are you are able to use lire dyes and scents and also they sink a little quicker than TPE. An awesome “full cast” profile pf 25mm ball and 4.5” of total width. Probably the most versatile simple and solid way to rig an urchin style bait. Our own custom mega spike keeper works amazing locking any urchin in place. Awesome for jerking a Cabec around shallow cover with heavy line and rod. They stay surprisingly weedless also with the tentacles helping provide a little bit of a natural shield. These little weights are a solid option if you like to rig a treble hook into any style urchin bait that is 19mm or bigger. Simply push the weight into the cavity of the bait and then put the hook through the hole at the top and you are ready to catch fish. It also works with strait shank hooks or the VMC 1/0 treble we offer.
